The Begging of Peace
The Begging of Peace
Sohal
What good of the wings if I can’t fly to the sky of freedom;
If I can’t even argue then why would I need my
wisdom?
I raise my head to see the rise of the sun and
share light;
But instead, I see the bloodbath, riots, and all
kinds of fights. …………………………… (1)
“Well, they started it first!” that’s all I get
as the answer;
And then they continue to spread the hatred
like cancer.
From afar, the sheet of peace is starting to
get thinner;
Looks like the ego is brutally choosing its
pseudo-winner. ……………………………. (2)
The things who were brought to balance all the
humanity;
Humans used those as weapons and cursed us for
eternity.
Past repeated to learn something and never
repeat it again;
But the fools didn’t listen to him and let
their anger-driven. ……………………………. (3)
You can’t get curious; you can’t ask their
questions to them;
And if you ask a question, don’t hope to get the culprit to blame.
All have thrown their manners like they are
living in caves;
Plotting for the destruction really made the
roads into graves. …………………………. (4)
We may be not with the fact that others think
of progress;
But we should defend and fight for their rights
to express.
Be alert! The walls of peace are getting
mysterious crack;
And with all the war and genocide the devil is
coming back. ………………………….… (5)
History is for learning, not for getting
revenge for pleasure;
Don’t forget where you came from and what’s
your closure.
Because I don’t know who are selling the
religions out there;
But I can see who are paying the price for it
in this crazy fair. …………………………. (6)
